What is Adwix Connect?
Adwix Connect is a WhatsApp Business API tool that lets your whole team run WhatsApp from one screen instead of one phone. It connects to your business number through Meta’s official WhatsApp Cloud API, so every chat lands in a shared inbox and you can message customers at scale without risking a ban.
We built it for our own clients at Adwix Media: travel agencies, clinics, real estate, coaching and local businesses that get most of their leads from Meta ads and WhatsApp. In one dashboard you get:

The first episode is a quick tour of everything in the sidebar, so you know where each tool lives before we start building:
- Inbox: every chat on your business number in one shared inbox, with each lead’s details beside the chat.
- Campaigns: send approved messages to thousands of people and see who read, who replied and who didn’t.
- Flow Builder: draw a chatbot with blocks, no code, to qualify leads and book calls.
- Automation Rules: a keyword, a new contact, a submitted form or someone going quiet triggers the right message.
- Adwix AI: replies from your own price list and FAQ, tags every chat and fills in lead details.
- WA Flows and Catalog: WhatsApp Forms for bookings, plus a catalogue and WhatsApp Pay so customers can buy inside the chat.
- Analytics: cost, performance and team response times.
Episode 2: How do you check your WhatsApp account health?

Before you build anything, check that your number is healthy. A healthy number is what lets you message more new people every day. In Adwix Connect you can see it in two places:
- Home dashboard. Your business number sits top left and a Connected tag top right, which means Adwix is talking to Meta live. The stat cards update in real time: messages sent and received, conversations, approved templates, contacts, delivery rate, broadcasts and chatbot runs.
- Number Health panel. Pulled straight from Meta, it shows your quality rating and your messaging limit, which is how many new people you can start a conversation with in 24 hours.
- Settings → WhatsApp. The full Account Health check: token status, phone status, quality rating, messaging limit and whether your Meta payment method is set up. Below it, edit your WhatsApp business profile (email, address, description) and it updates on WhatsApp itself.
Episode 3: Team Inbox and AI assist

Everything your team says to customers happens in the inbox. Here is what makes it faster than WhatsApp on a phone:
- Smart filters: Unread, Open and Unhappy, where the AI puts customers who sound upset. Filter goes deeper by tag, lead stage or team member.
- Contact panel: open a chat and the full contact sits on the right. Leads from a Facebook lead form arrive with every answer already filled in.
- Lead stage, private notes and assignment: set the stage, write a note the customer never sees and hand the chat to a teammate.
- AI assist (sparkle icon): Draft a reply from your business info, Summarize this chat before a handover, Rewrite my draft to polish it, and Translate my draft into any language, handy when a customer writes in Tamil or Arabic.
- Plus menu: beyond photos and documents, send reply buttons, a link button, a location request, a contact card, a carousel or an approved template.
- Quick replies: type
/and saved replies pop up for bank details, address and anything you send often. - Chat menu: add tags, send a template, download the chat, export the contact or block spam. You can also call the customer on WhatsApp.
When the 24-hour customer service window closes, the inbox shows a yellow bar and offers a template instead. That’s exactly why Episode 4 is about templates. If you’re answering leads from ads, pair this with our WhatsApp follow-up playbook.

Episode 4: How do you create a WhatsApp message template?
Read the full Episode 4 guide, step by step →
To message a customer after the 24-hour window closes, you need a template that Meta has approved. Adwix Connect gives you two routes.
The shortcut: Template library
Click Template library for around a hundred ready-made utility and authentication templates written by Meta. Filter by category, industry (for example e-commerce), topic (order updates, payments, account changes) and language, including Hindi. Click Use, add your details and submit. Because Meta wrote them, they are rarely rejected. Marketing templates aren’t in the library, so you write those yourself.
Which template category should you choose?
| Category | Use it for | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Marketing | Anything that sells or promotes | Offers, launches, free audit invites |
| Utility | Updates the customer expects. Cheaper, but no sales pitch | Booking confirmations, receipts, reminders |
| Authentication | One-time login codes only | OTP for sign-in |
Meta reviews and charges each category differently, so pick the right one. Inside Marketing you then choose a message type: Default (image or video with your own buttons), Catalogue, Carousel (2 to 10 swipeable cards), Limited-time offer (live countdown and expiring code), Buy now · Checkout, Flows (a form for enquiries, appointments or surveys) and Calling permissions request.
Build a marketing template step by step
- Click + New Template, choose Marketing, then Default, and click Next.
- Name it in small letters and underscores, no spaces, for example
adc_growth_audit. Pick the language. - Under Media sample, upload an image. A clear picture gets far more attention than plain text.
- Write the body with a variable for the name: Hi {{1}}, thanks for checking out Adwix Media. This week we’re offering a free 15-minute WhatsApp growth audit. Want us to book one for you? The
{{1}}drops in each customer’s name automatically. - Add a footer opt-out line such as Reply STOP to unsubscribe. It protects your quality rating.
- Add buttons: quick replies Book my audit and Not now. You can also add a website link, call button or copy-code button.
- Set a message validity period so a time-sensitive offer never lands hours late, and keep the category review box ticked so Meta can move your template to the right category instead of rejecting it.
- Check the phone preview and click Submit for Review. Meta often approves within minutes.

A broadcast sends one approved template to many people at once. In this episode we send our audit offer to people who have already chatted with us:
- Deliverability first: a frequency guard stops anyone getting two offers in a day, dead numbers are skipped and small errors retry automatically.
- Personalised variables: link
{{1}}to Contact Name, so Rahul sees “Hi Rahul” and Prachi sees “Hi Prachi”. - Button actions: decide what happens when someone taps Book my audit, for example starting the booking chatbot.
- Segments: Highly engaged, At risk and Winback, or import your own CSV list.
- Schedule: evenings usually work best, because that’s when people check WhatsApp.
Episode 6: Drip sequences for automatic follow-ups (coming soon)
Most customers don’t reply to the first message. A drip sequence sends your follow-ups automatically on the days you choose:
- Step 1 goes out the moment someone joins (our audit offer).
- Step 2 after 1 day: a friendly follow-up. Waits can be minutes, hours or days.
- Step 3 after 3 days: another template. A travel agency might send the package, then a review, then a limited offer.
- Automatic recovery: people who messaged from your ad but didn’t buy, or left a cart unpaid, join on their own and leave the moment they pay. Pairs well with Click-to-WhatsApp ads.
What the full series builds: one WhatsApp sales funnel
Episodes 4 to 10 build one working funnel for Adwix Media’s own free growth audit, and each episode uses what the last one made. Watch them in order:
- Template with the audit offer and two buttons (Ep. 4)
- Broadcast to people who have already chatted (Ep. 5)
- Drip follow-ups for those who don’t reply (Ep. 6)
- Qualifying chatbot built in Flow Builder (Ep. 7)
- Automation rules that trigger it on keywords, forms or silence (Ep. 8)
- Adwix AI answering from your price list and FAQ (Ep. 9)
- WhatsApp Form that books the audit inside the chat (Ep. 10)
Who is Adwix Connect for?
Any business where sales happen in WhatsApp chats: travel agencies sending packages and payment links, clinics confirming appointments, real estate teams qualifying site-visit leads, coaching institutes following up enquiries, and online shops recovering unpaid carts. If more than one person replies on your WhatsApp, or you run Meta ads that lead to WhatsApp, a shared API inbox will save you leads.
Frequently asked questions
What is Adwix Connect?
Adwix Connect is a WhatsApp Business API platform by Adwix Media. It gives your team a shared WhatsApp inbox plus broadcasts, drip sequences, a no-code chatbot builder, automation rules, AI replies, WhatsApp Forms, a catalogue and WhatsApp Pay in one dashboard.
Is Adwix Connect an official WhatsApp Business API tool?
Yes. It connects to your number through Meta’s WhatsApp Cloud API, and the dashboard shows your live connection, quality rating and messaging limit straight from Meta.
Can several team members use one WhatsApp number?
Yes. Everyone replies from the shared Team Inbox. You can assign chats, set lead stages and leave private notes, so the whole team knows where each lead stands.
Do I need a template to message customers on WhatsApp?
Only after the 24-hour customer service window closes, or when you start the conversation. Within 24 hours of the customer’s last message you can reply freely. Outside it you must use a Meta-approved template.
How long does WhatsApp template approval take?
Meta often approves templates within minutes, though some take longer. Utility and authentication templates from the built-in library are rarely rejected because Meta wrote them.
Can I build a WhatsApp chatbot without coding?
Yes. Flow Builder lets you draw a chatbot with blocks to qualify leads and book calls around the clock. No code is needed.
